Medico Legal - Sydney

Dr Mike O'Connor AM has had extensive training in Health Law (Masters) as well as being a Fellow of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine. He was made a member of the Academy of Experts in 2026.

He also undertakes regular continuing Medico Legal education with the Australasian College of Legal Medicine.

Dr Mike O'Connor AM works extensively as an expert witness for defendants and plaintiffs.

Previous expert evidence has been provided  for Plaintiffs and Defence in:

• Criminal matters including sexual assault, historic childhood sexual abuse, carnal knowledge, "fisting" [brachio vagina] sexual assault, choking and murder with gynaecological factors, Dr Mike have also given evidence in sentencing hearings in the NSW District Court.
