Dr Mike O'Connor AM is an accredited expert witness in general obstetrics and gynaecology for the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

Dr Mike O'Connor AM is a section editor for the Journal of Law and Medicine where he has published many papers.

Dr Mike O'Connor AM has recently finished a chapter for the new Handbook of Legal and Forensic Medicine on Doctors and Torture

Medicolegal cases ($980 per hour +GST)

Fee for court attendance as expert witness: $5500.00 per diem. In the event of a sudden court cancellation (less than 24 hours) please be advised that fees of $3000 per cancelled day will be payable

Dr Mike O'Connor AM has had extensive training in Health Law (Masters) as well as being a Fellow of the Australasian College of Legal Medicine. He was made a member of the Academy of Experts in 2026.

He also undertakes regular continuing Medico Legal education with the Australasian College of Legal Medicine.
